Pre-Formal

Getting ready for formal is every sorority girl's best dream and worst nightmare come true. While formal is sure to be one of the best nights of the year, it can't get that way without some preparation. Here, I'll take you through, minute-by-minute, what goes on before formal.

2:30p - Say goodbye to ESLLC friends who are going away for the weekend. Run to my room to immediately get ready
2:31p - Assess the mess in my room and choose to ignore it (for the 100,000 time this month). Think about taking a shower. Get distracted by Facebook and Pinterest.
2:40p - DP comes by. Formal date drama. We're all hanging out on my bed and dealing with it. Moral of the story? Boys suck.
3:03p - Naptime
3:14p - Facebook status, "FORMAL TONIGHT! and what part am i looking forward to most? not wearing pants."
3:15p - back to napping. but for real.
3:17p - decide that watching GCB on Hulu counts as napping.
4:12p - Betty Crocker's friend arrives! Also, I stop watch GCB and decide I should probably get ready. Nap unsuccessful.
5:44p - Call restaurant to push back our reservation from 6.15 to 6.30. We can still make it, right?
6:28p - Leave to go to the restaurant
6:32p - Painting my nails in the car ride.
6:52p - Arrive at restaurant, have a delicious dinner, and nothing goes amiss.
7:50p - Go upstairs with Betty Crocker (who planned this whole evening!), see the space, and take some initial shots.
8:30p - Formal starts! Take pictures with everyone coming in, and dance the night away...

And that's basically what goes into all the hype about formal! It was so fantastic and Betty did a great job organizing it all :) I LOVE FORMAL!
