Musings

In all my lecture classes (that is to say, all my classes), my professors ramble on for two hours. They talk about only three or four topics or points. I believe that they can effectively teach this same information in a fraction of the time.

Shorter classes would mean that students would be more likely to pay attention because they have to give their attention for a shorter period of time. Also, they would be more likely to ask questions, which leads to a better and more effective learning experience. Professors would therefore be less frustrated by inattentive students.

Shorter classes in the near future? Maybe not. Food for thought? Up to you...
